As has become customary in recent years, at the end of the year we are launching the ticketing platform for the next UCI MOUNTAIN BIKE WORLD SERIES in Nové Město na Moravě. Simply so that you can use the tickets as Christmas gifts. Prices remain the same as last year and a stylish gift for the first 100 ticket holders is also prepared!
What Can You Look Forward To?
In 2025, we'll bring the highest level of mountain bike racing to Nové Město na Moravě (CZE) once again and you can look forward to meeting the top athletes from the mountain bike elite right at your fingertips.
Among the men, regulars like Koretzky, Sarrou, Blevins, and Schwarzbauer should not be missing. The immortal Nino Schurter has also confirmed another season. And for 2025, the versatile and multiple world champion in various cycling disciplines, Mathieu van der Poel, has preliminarily registered for the mountain bike program as well! Last time he raced in Nové Město was in the COVID year 2021 (without spectators), when he finished second behind Tom Pidcock. But before that, in 2019, he won the race in front of packed stands and therefore he has some nice memories! However, he has had a number of bitter experiences with mountain bikes in recent years (e.g., crashes at the Olympics in Japan or World Championships in Scotland), so there are whispers about "unfinished business" and the 2025 season as an opportunity to capture the MTB world title, which is still missing in his impressive collection of achievements.
Among the women, the star of recent seasons, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, will not participate, as she previously announced her transfer to road cycling. However, we can look forward to watching Laura Stigger, Alessandra Keller, Jenny Rissveds, Loane Lecomte, Evie Richards, and other icons of the women's peloton.
With the end of the year arrives the traditional period of team changes and transfers, so in the coming weeks, you can look forward to a whole range of interesting news. From behind the scenes we already know that some teams will experience radical transformations. We will inform you about team news on our social media (FB + IG), and you can certainly look forward to seeing many elite racers sporting in May in Nové Město in new team colors and with a completely different equipment than before. Including local Czech favorites!
Racing Program
Elite categories will start the short track on Saturday and the Olympic cross-country on Sunday. However, unlike in 2024, it can be expected that the U23 categories will also race in the same format (Saturday short track + Sunday cross-country). This would mean a more condensed racing program and maximum adrenaline concentration on the race track on both racing days. However, nothing is finalized yet. If this program modification occurs, the two traditional junior series races will likely take place on Saturday. We will inform you about the exact program, including start times, at the beginning of 2025.
Marathon Ends
It's already clear that after two years of welcoming top endurance athletes and organizing a Marathon World Cup race, we will not see this race in Nové Město in 2025. The entire XCM World Cup series is undergoing changes, and discussions are currently underway about what it will look like in the future. It's expected that the series will no longer sit under the wings of promoter Warner Bros. Discovery and therefore will not be part of the Nové Město UCI MOUNTAIN BIKE WORLD SERIES. We'll see what the future brings; perhaps the marathon riders will return to the Vysočina region someday, as we would have the facilities and a quality track for them.
In 2025, we'll also take a break from the public marathon. Organizing it has become increasingly challenging from an organizational perspective, and the number of participants is stagnating, so we'll prepare the next edition without it.
What More?
You can again look forward to the Bike Demos program, which was very successful this year, and therefore we want to take it up another notch in 2025. We'll move the testing center closer to the Vysočina Arena to make demoing more convenient for exhibitors and testers, and to ensure that all participants have facilities like toilets, refreshments, and bike washing easily accessible. Again, we are expecting almost 500 bikes available for testing.
Even the popular accompanying events and partner activations will not be missing, but it's too early to present them. At least we can reveal that some big news are planned for the Official Camping (better location with even and hardpacked surface) and also for catering options in the Arena!

Ticket sales will start today, Tuesday, December 3rd, at 6 PM. We'll first launch EARLY BIRD tickets (weekend pass with the option to "top up" a free T-shirt), for which we'll primarily invite all ticket holders from this year's 2024 edition (via an email campaign). From Thursday noon (December 5th - 12:00), we'll launch full presales, including one-day and VIP tickets. All tickets will be for sale on the link here.
